What is the name of your state? CT

Was rearended.
Went to ER as a precaution.
Body x-rayed
rec'd relaxant and pain med.
Not injuries except a little muscle pain

follow up with doc few weeks later - all clear.

Car was paid for (bumper damage $500) and rental car.
They will pay all medical and include pain and suffering.

How do they calculate pain and suffering.
I am not looking to drag this out, we have other things going on, but I do want what I am entitiled too. Really no injury and can't afford a lawyer.

I spent the night at the ER and had neck and back pain that I took meds for.
I had muscle injury.

You will get your bills paid. You are looking for a windfall, and that isn't going to happen.

I am looking for compensation for sittling at the emergency room for 8 hours with a collar on my neck and an IV in my arm.
And for a bad back and neck for days due to muscle pulls.
If that ain't pain and suffering....
The company is already giving me a check, I just was looking for how they calculate it.

Sorry but you are barking up the wrong tree.
If you don't know how it is calculated, then you can't answer my question.
That is all my question was. Please don't just argue with me.
