I live in Vermont, but the accident occured in New Hampshire if that makes any difference.

I was reversing out of a parking space and trying to avoid the many girls who were walking through the parking lot as they were in sports camp. I didn't see the car parked in the NO PARKING zone - that was also a tow zone. I hit the car with my bumper and dented their door slightly.
While I realize I hit the car, does it help me or my case that the car was parked illegally in a place cars aren't allowed to park? A tow zone?

Any legal ideas on this?

Thanks

You are 100% at fault.

There is no such thing as negilgent parking.

However, looking at girls while driving can lead to bad things...as you now know.:D
