Woman has relatively new car. Woman loans this car to little sister's boyfriend. Boyfriend drives around with E-Break on... ruins rear breaks. Woman takes car in to have repaired to the tune of $670+

Boyfriend's responsibility?

he has the responsibility to return the item in the same condition that he borrowed it.

Now. . . . good luck proving that what HE did ruined the brakes.

Well, thankfully this won't be the problem. He's pretty much accepted responsibility. I just didn't know where I stood legally if his mum pitches a fit.

Also, all three places I've taken it for quotes say that that's pretty much the only way my brakes could have been ruined.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.
