What is the name of your state? Tennessee

I was recently given a ticket for having a flat tire while I was turning and hitting the curb to avoid a car in the intersection, although when I looked up the actual offense of caution to be exercised this is what I found:71.34 CAUTION TO BE EXERCISED.
Notwithstanding any speed limit zone in effect at the time or right-of-way rules that may be applicable, every driver shall:
(A) Operate his or her vehicle at a safe speed;
(B) Maintain a safe lookout;
(C) Use due care to keep his or her vehicle under control.
(`83 Code, § 9-205)
the officer also wrote failuer to maintain control on the ticket, should I go guilty or fight it? The only thing I am worried about is a prejudice judge who will uphold the officer's word over mine, even if I do prove my case.
