We live in PA:

My husband was injured at work and was given the appropriate forms to complete. 3 days later, in addition to his initial back problems from lifting that he reported in the forms, he developed shoulder problems as a result of the lifting that caused the problem. The doctor and administrator are trying to tell him he cannot be covered for his shoulder pain because this complaint wasn't included when he first filled out the form.

Does he have the right to have the shoulder pain covered?

How do we get the doctor and workman comp admin to add this problem to the complaint?

Those people are full of BS. An ammended or new form can be filed for the additional injury that I believe was due to the initial injury.
