I live in TX. I applied to renew my drivers license, paid, and took the picture. I even got a temp one. However, I recieved a notice of denial in the mail about a week later. It seems I have a speeding ticket from 2001 in La Grange. It is entirely possible, but I have never received any notice of failure to appear, or any charges. I have even renewed my ID with no problem 2 years ago, and registered a vehicle in my name. I guess my question is: Can I have the date reset, or do I have to pay the fine and the failure to appear charge?
