What is the name of your state? NC
My grandmother gave her real estate property to her son via a general warranty deed. The deed to the property was in both my grandmother and my grandfathers (her husband) name. My grandmother signed my grandfathers name because she thought she had his power of attorney. But it turns out that she didn't get his power of attorney until four months AFTER signing his name to the deed. Is the deed valid? Is it a clear deed?
