What is the name of your state? CO
I received a speeding ticket on a road that divides two different counties. I was travelling in one county and the officer was on the other side of the road in the other county. The officer was a representative of the county on his side of the road. Can I have my ticket dismissed on grounds of jurisdiction? If so, do I have to go to court to do this or is there paperwork I can fill out and send to the court in the county where the summons is from?
