My sister was arrested in July. She was stopped for making an illegal turn. Actually she made the illegal turn, and then pulled into the mall parking lot. SHe got out of her car and started walking towards the mall entrance. A police officer pulled up to her, and asked for her license and registration. He ran her tags and then asked if he could search her vehichle and she said no. He made her wait until a drug dog arrived. THe dog sniffed around the car, and she says the dog smelled nothing, but the cop says the drug did. THey made her pop her trunk, and inside a box was another box with drugs in it. SHe has been in jail for almost 3 months, but she hasn't been indicted yet. She can't get a bond because she was out on parole when this happened. How long can they hold her without indicted her? If they choose not to indict, does that mean she's free to go?
