I received a prayer for judgement for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz.
I had no fine, just court costs and 16 hours of community service.
My question is this-- this happened over a year ago, and now I'm trying to get a job. More specifically I'd like to be a teacher. My problem is that I now have to include an explanation of this stupid moment in my life every time I apply for a job. Needless to say, the job search isn't going so well.
Am I eligible for an expungement? What are the chances of getting this?
