I have been emotional abused for 23 years, filed for divorced this November, need help on what to state to the judge. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

First you should look into if there are any Domestic Violence Service agencies in your area, just look it up in the yellow pages. Emotional Abuse is definitely Domestic Violence. If so, they should have a court liason who can help you at court. If not, I would get alot of literature, perhaps the help of a counselor, to assist you in court. A Judge should be aware of the trauma of emotional abuse but then again, may not. Good luck
