The state in question is California. I have a friend who works for a packing and shipping , xerox type of place. She was originally hired to manage a new store but the owners are not permitting her to do what she was hired to do. She has already completed her probationary period with the company. Suddenly the owner is telling her that she isn't doing her job and is placing her back on probation. Is it legal to place a person back on probation when they have already completed the mandatory 90 day probabtionary period? They are making claims but have nothing documented to back up their claims. Can they place her back on probation like this? Thanks.
