What is the name of your state? IL

i have an illinois license and received a speeding ticket in michigan. will points be added to my driving record in illinois?

also, can i reduce/avoid points by attending a driving improvement class (or something like it)?What is the name of your state?

Illionois is a member of the Non-Resident Violators Compact, but it appears that Michigan isn't, so I don't know if they will actually report citation. It is, however, noted that most states will suspend your license if one state but not the other is part of the compact.
