Co-signed for a car. . . .
I co-signed for a car two years ago for a friend who was going through "hard times". Since then, I have asked her repeatedly to refinance the car so that it may be removed from my credit report. She has been making all the payments for the past two years. She does not think she will be able to refinance it due to the fact that she is a college student with very little income. It is starting to cause me to be denied credit. I need it off of my report. . . is there any legal action I can take if necessary?
