My mother is 71, dad is 84 and recently broke his hip. She has several health issues and cannot care for my father at home so she is researching nursing homes. As we all know,they're expensive. She can afford one if she cuts back on some expenses- here is the issue: my 48 year-old brother. For the past 5 years he has been living in their home and not working. Their savings account has gone down considerably and they can no longer afford his "gravy train." He's been told to get a job and leave but refuses to. What are their legal options in dealing with this matter? They reside in Puerto Rico. Thanks.
