Our State University has institutionalized the performance evaluation system. Performance evaluations are a requirement prior to determining merit salary increases. Is there anyway to challenge performance evaluation improprieties and inequities that exist in the implementation of the process? How frequently are performance evaluation systems challenged in court? Specifically as these systems apply to classified civil service employee cases?
