Does the court ever appoint a guardian attorney for an elder in a case where brothers and sisters dispute guardianship, and there are accusations of financial abuse, neglect, and emotional abuse?

If someone petitions the court of course they will. IF there is reson to do so. That doesn't mean a catfight between the children but it DOES mean if the elder is not competent to control their own affairs.
