I'm a quality mgr. for a small steel service center. I was recently diagnosed as having Parkinson's disease. When is the best time to tell my employer, before the onset of more symptoms or when they ask?

I suggest that you read a copy of the Americans With Disabilities Act and the Family & Medical Leave Act first. Know your rights before you say anything. You must be the one who notifies your employer and requests accommodations, if necessary. Put it in writing.
