What is the name of your state? california burbank, michael

my dad passed away last may, he had a trust, with investments to be devided between myself and his girlfriend , Alice.
when we , appeared at lockheed brokerage, in burbank, I found out that my dads investments, annuities, had all been removed from the trust, so as to avoid deviding them with myself. all went to Alice,. ok

but,the investment papers all had my name listed as number 2 , below Alice. as if something should happen to Alice, these of investments of my dads are to go to myself,
no other names are listed.

she had removed my name, opened new account at lockheed, and put the names of her son and daughter, instead of my name.

I believe this is against the wishes of my father.
can anything be done>??

Wishes don't override what's on paper. It sounds like your father put his wife as beneficiary and you as contingent which would mean (as you stated) that if the wife passed before him you would have inherited. She didn't and you don't.

I really sympathize with you, nothing is worse than finding out
that your rightful inheritance has gone to some third party non family
non blood bimbo gold digger and her ******* spawn.

Even worse when you find out theres nothing you can do
about it. Is there a will? I dont know how much good that will do,
someone already said Wishes dont override whats on paper.

If you really wanted to get into it, you could investigate When it was changed,
how it was changed, when your Father signed for this and his condition
at the time it was signed. Look at the dates on it.
You said girlfriend, so how long did they live together? They are not married?
Did he divorce your Mother? Was your Mother his first wife?
Sometimes the first wife can collect their ex husbands money or retirement
money after his death! Check with an attorney about this law.
His first wife may be entitled to it even though they were divorced.

If your Mother can get it, then you can get it from her or split it with her!

Look deeply into the law and loopholes, you might find a way.

I'm afraid my step mother has the same plan for me and my brother.
My Father had financial documents with my brothers name and my name on it
for years. I think she's convinced him to change that to just her name on it
and her daughters name on it. I dont know for sure.
I dont think my Father would do that to us, but you never know.
If that did happen, you can bet I'd drag her into court, if for nothing else
but to waste her time, money, and lost time at work on me
and then wasted appeals if I can. She's already said she was afraid
I'd take her to court, and she's right, I would. win or lose no matter.

They should pass a law saying next of blood kin gets the inheritance.
This would stop inheritance stealing by some third party who has no business
getting it.

Do you have a copy of the trust? Who is the trustee--is it the wife or someone else?

Did he have a will that is being probated in court or were all assets put into the trust?

What is the estimated total value of the trust?

If I were you I would get an attorney to look into exactly when and how the beneficiary designation changes were made on each asset--if your father made them, then there should be paperwork to prove it and you will not stand to inherit. However, if the wife made the changes with a power of attorney document, then that can possibly be considered abuse of POA if your state has laws against it and she will have to return these assets to the estate if your attorney brings charges against her.

Something is fishy and you are right to want to investigate further.
