What is the name of your state? CA
Four beneficiarys will share in the estate but one can not be located. What happens to his share. Is it kept in an account for a period of time and then shared with the remaining beneficiarys?

It can be kept in an escrow account or trust account, but the executor has an obligation to prove that an official effort has been made to locate the "lost" person. He/she can hire a private investigator to do it (for about $200 or less), or I can do it for you as I have access to nationwide databases. It is very rare that a person could not be located.
