What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

Can my wife and I appoint our 17-year old daughter as guardian of her younger sibling in our will if we were to both die prior to her 18th birthday? 17-year olds are considered adults in many courts. Thanks for any advice.
No one can appoint a guardian except a judge, regardless of who one nominates in one's will. The judge will still have the final say-so over who is appointed. Minors cannot be legal guardians.
