Ours is a unique situation. We (my husband and I) are "On Site Managers" for a large apartment complex in southern California. We have been living and working in this same building for six years .
The problem is with the owner of the property management company which manages this building. He is our employer.

After having a flood here in our apartment,(which was caused by a faulty water heater from the unit above ours)we expressed our complete disatisfaction with the amount of time it took to begin and complete the repairs ,the condition in which our apartment was left and a theft which occured while workers were in our unit. We began to get harassed by the owner of said company. He calls on a daily basis slandering us,threating eviction and so on.
He has made this hostle environment in which to work and live. However we can not afford to move at this time.

We are at the end of our rope and seek a legal remedy. Is there one? Do we have a case by which to bring in front an arbitrator or judge? And how do we protect our rights as tenants .
