What is the name of your state? i live in oklahoma. my mother lived in texas. this is about her will. she passed away on june 3, 2006. her will stated that if she should die first my stepdad would inherit everything except her personal belongings and her jewelry which were to go to me, her only child. i just found out that my stepdad had her will probated and has drawn up a new will naming his two sons only in the will. that is fine, i don't want anything except my mothers belongings. i have taken a few things with his permission. mostly her clothes and jewely and pictures. he is acting crazy now and i would like to take the rest of her things out of the house. do i have the right to do that? i am becoming afraid of him and really think he needs mental help. if i do go to pick up her things can i take protection such as a policeman?
