What is the name of your state? North Carolina

Is there a minimum amout of money that you have to spent to be able to file medical expences? Do doctor's bills count or just medical supplys.

You report the entire amount of medical expenses, but the amount equalling 7.5% of your adjusted gross income, will not actually be deductible. Only the amount above that. All medical expenses are included.....doctors, hospitals, prescriptions, and anything specifically ordered by the doctor.
