My mother is ill, having mental health issues; forgetfullness.
She refuses to be admitted to a hospital.
She has no will and no desire to have one.
I have the ability to have a living trust drawn for her.
But she refuses.

So, I have no power over her well being, correct?

I would like to have her admitted to a hopital.

You do NOT have the ability to have a living trust drawn for your mother because she is the one that MUST sign it, not you. Furthermore, your mother must be of sound mind to sign any estate documents.

Petition for conservatorship for your mother. This will provide you the power to take care of your mother's well being. Until then, you do not have any power except calling 911 if there is an emergency requiring a trip to the ER.
