I have a nephew in jail right now and he's going to be in there till the deadline for taxes to be filed. How does he go about filing them? Even if his parents do it for him there is no way for them to get the money he's getting back because they either mail a check (which obviously he can't cash) or have it direct deposited but his parents don't have access to his bank account. Will he get in to trouble for not filing his taxes? Do they cut him some kind of break for being in jail? They want to get the money he's getting back to put in his account to buy necessities in jail. Any insight would be great.
