Did I post this message in the wrong forum?? Usually, replies happen within hours.
My nephew recently went through a heart transplant surgery. The amount of people coming forward to help out the family is overwhelming; fund raisers, donations, etc.. We need to know how to handle the money raised and received through events and donations.
The current focus is how to handle the money.
- What should I ask for with the bank?
- Is a checking account acceptable?
- Can anyone provide links to step-by-step guides for handling this type of situation?
