In California, what are the rules for serving out of state felony warrants. I might have a bench warrant for failure to appear and or probation violations. If you are found at a residence do they have the right to search that resedence if for example you answer the door and are arrested, what if your outside the house say washing your car. Can they force themselves in like in a search warrant if they think you are there. Is there different rules for your last known residence and say for example at a friends house?
