My father-in-law was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Life expectancy is less than a year. He has no health insurance and I am unsure if he will be eligible for medicaid. He has a large amount of outstanding debt. He still has not completed tax returns for the last three years. My husband is a beneficiary. Will we be responsible for his debt after he passes away?
