US/Canada Conviction terminology

What is the US term for a Canadian Summary Conviction? I have looked online but cant find a darn thing.
Charge is Theft Under $1000 - (fine of $400)
and Assist Escape (no fine/1 year prob)

Um, why would the US have a term for a Canadian Summary conviction. I would imagine that we would call it a Canadian Summary Conviction.

I mean, what is the US equivalent.
Perhaps if you were to tell us what a "Canadian Summary Conviction" is. It could be that we do not have such a thing.
