HELLO! Jasie here in Virginia, in 2000 i was orginially charged with malicious wounding in court my charges was dropped to unlawful wounding i was found gulity and received 2yrs on probation. At the time i was young and i really don't know if its a felony or a misdemeanor. Could you let me know? thx:confused:What is the name of your state?

They are both felonies. Malicious wounding is a class 3 felony. Unlawful wounding is a class 6. The difference is that the class 3 is 5-20 years. The class 6, you can get off with a lesser term or just a fine.
