Can I record sounds of nature and take pictures in a national or private park and then sell them for a profit?

Will I have to get licensing, permission or will I have to pay royalties?

You can record sounds of nature and take pictures in a park and sell them for a profit. You would not be violating any copyright law, which prevents you from using the work of others, but does not prevent you from selling your own work derived from nature.

There would be no royalties due from you. However, to be strictly legal, you most are required to get a business license from your local municipality. You can check with the local city hall or county office about business license requirements.
