What is the name of your state? Pa

Recently, one of my relatives took out several payday loans and credit cards out in my name. I found out about them not too long ago. The person who took them out already paid all of the balances off on all of them. Can I still file charges on this person being that everything is all paid off?

Prosecutors file charges. People file police reports. Yes, you can. You should also contact ther credit bureaus.

I just thought that since all the balances were paid off, that nobody would waste their time because it sounds weird that I would complain of identity theft, but yet everything is paid. Kinda of a hard thing to prove. Sorta like wky would someone steal someone's identity and then turn around a pay it, lol.

Call the police, and file a report, they'll run it up the chain. I suspect due to no harm no foul, your identity thief won't face the music.

Strange that they paid everything off...seems like a 1 in a million chance that it goes that way in these situations. wierd
