I had a question on what the charge would be for this crime.
Someone pays via check for an item on Yahoo auctions. The buyer is from IL. The seller (WI) cashes the check and does not send the item. After repeated contact to the seller there is no response or any sign of contact.
Can the seller recieve a criminal charge or is it only a small claims matter? Thank you so much in advance for any information you can provide me!
