My fiancee's ex boyfriend has been harrassing the hell out of us and has been trying to "buy" her back. She has broken off all contact with him and now he's saying that he has obtained a lawyer and will be pressing charges against her for Obtaining Money under False Pretense while they were together. He says he has spent over $5,000 on her and if she doesn't start talking to him again he will take her to court. He lives in NC and is twice her age. Does he have any recourse and can we file charges for harrassment?
