My question is: (Part-A) What can happen to a person who was unemployed, applied for student aid at a trade school at the advice of the unemployment office. The school encouraged the potential student to take the 6 month course, before aid was available. Subsequently the student aid loan was rejected (unknown reason). School did not notify the student of rejection until after graduation 6 months later, and now wants payment in full. (Part-B) The school advertised that after graduation they would guarantee placement. Student is still unemployed and demanding that School find her a job. Student graduated top 10 percent of class. Student is willing to negotiate some kind of financial agreement w/school, When employment is obtained. This is happening to other students also.

I believe that the school should not accept students until financial aid has been guaranteed by government.

Thanks for any advice,
Cheryl Avery
