We had an oral agreement with an aquiantance of my husband who just started his own contractor business. He was to finish our basement. He did our roof. But he bid too low on the basement work, instead of asking for more money, he just packed up his tools and left. He refuses to finish the rest of the job. Just a real jerk. Now we must hire someone else & we know that it will cost us more that we did not have financed. What I want is to be able to report this guys unethical work or lack of it. Who do I tell besides the better business bureau?? I want him to be held accountable for his actions. Any help?? Thanks!! We did learn a lesson!!
