Is an employer responsible to inform employees of phone calls? I work in a large factory and my daughter called for me at work, and she was told I was not "accepting calls at the moment". They didn't take a name, number or ask if it was an emergency, luckily it wasn't. I want to go to the union to complain, but want to know if I have a leg to stand on first.
