What is the name of your state? ID

I got cited for a Code Section 23949 in the middle of June. Thankfully I managed to get the charge dropped after a couple of days. The DA's office sent me back my ticket, they had crossed it and written "declined" on it.
Now I was wondering if it would show up on my record, and it it does, what I could do to get it off it.
Any help is appreciated.What is the name of your state?
