I was involve in a hit and run. Luckly, someone got the tag # and was able to track it down. I don't have any rental coverage. I don't know if the driver have any insurance. If the driver does have insurance will I be able to rent a car until my car can be fix? If the driver does not have insurane I'm pretty much out of luck on everything?

You need to be asking the other driver's car insurance carrier your questions.

I suspect that most hit-and-run drivers do not have insurance.

If that is so, then you need to be talking to YOUR insurance carrier.
