What is the name of your state? MI

What rights does a person have to keep their name from being publicly associated with a crime committed as a juvenile? Is there any action that can be taken to remove someone's name from a website that refers to an act committed 16 years ago at the age of 15?

Was it a sex offense? was there a child involved?

The answer to those questions will make a difference in my answer.

No. No sex offense. No child involved. The charge was actually perjury.

The perjury pertained to friends involved in a homicide.

Your criminal record may have been sealed or expunged but there are other ways for people to gain this information. As long as what they are saying is true you have no recourse.
