(NJ)If both parents were killed in a car accident and in their will they stipulated that their two children inherit their property upon the age of eighteen would the executor of the estate have any legal claim to that property since the children are not yet eighteen? Would the eldest child have to wait until the younger sibling also turned eighteen?

While it all depends on exactly how the Will is written, generally the property would be held per the Will by the Executor or a Guardian of the Property for and as each of the children hits 18 it goes to the kid.
Some thoughts

1. Anyone who leave substantial property to a kid at age 18 is stupid -- they're not ready yet.

2. There is always a chance the Executor may invest the funds foolishly, or run off with the money....
