At the hearing her two wittness don't remember seeing the gun, and our wittness swore there was no gun, and the judge said that he saw no grounds for abuse, but still no firearms for 2 years. He also said he would have to word the paperwork to fit the situation, which would take a day or two, and it's now 8 days and no paperwork. Can we appeal this decision, and what can be done about her lying under oath at the first hearing? The judge just seems to have forgotten about it. This is a hunting family, and if we thought he shouldn't have a gun, he wouldn't have one. It is just a disgrunteled girlfriend who wanted to make up and our son had moved on. He had a new girl for 6 weeks before the restraining order was issued, and the old girl is making trouble. She also had visited several times and brought him lunch at work after the incident.
