Work related-My brother injured and had surgery on his dominant hand (little finger), which unfortunately was not successful. We we're told that we needed to get an impairment rating by the performing surgeon, who has suggested that there be a follow up surgery.
Due to the fear of further complications, we would prefer not to have the surgery but desire to settle this case. How would one pursue this desire?
What would be appropriate reward for loss/pain & suffering?

The amt of money that you will receive for pain and loss will be based on the impairment rating that is received. TN has horrible worker's comp laws so don't expect much. You will definitely want to talk to a lawyer, they will be able to give you all of the specifics.
