What is the name of your state? pa I did not pay my property taxes, by the time I realised what had happened (I was 2 days late) they were sold at the courthouse. How do I get it back?:(:(:(:(:(:(

Forgot? What did you think was in those two certified letters (one announcing the delinquency) and the other announcing the pending sale? It takes a long time for all this to happen in most Penn. counties.

Your options are slim at this point and any you might have will require a lawyer speciializing in these issues.

In Ohio, up to a certain point, the tax can still be paid even after the auction, reclaiming the property. I do not know about PA. You need to contact a competent PA attorney that specializes in property/tax law. Do it today.

Philadelphia gives you 90 days on owner occupied properties to redeem. Most of the other counties there is NO right of redemption.
