What is the name of your state? INDIANA

Here is my situation. My husband was re-ended and the vehicle was totaled. We have now been searching for a replacement vehicle for almost 2 months. We are having a difficult time finding a vehicle that has been even close to as well maintained as the vehicle we lost. We have even looked at vehicles that are selling for thousands more.

We have not settled with the ins. company yet. Can we asked to be compensated for the time that we have been without a vehicle and what about the difference in vehicle prices that we will eventually end of paying???? And if so, how do you arrive at a figure?

You will only be compensated for the fair market value of the vehicle. Obtain as much info about comparible vehicles in your area (same make, model, mileage) to make your case. You will not be compensated for the time looking for a replacement vehicle.
