although i am basicly tax exempt being a totally disabled veteran, i still received a refund of $90.00 last year when i filed my taxes when i installed 3 new windows in my house. my question is if i now install all new windows (18) this year, what kind of tax refund (not credit) should i get? What is the name of your state? Ga.

The home energy credits are very limited...and have a total lifetime limit of 500.00.

If I remember correctly its a maximum of 300.00 for windows. Therefore, if you haven't taken any other energy credits that effect your overall total, your max would be 210.00 for the additional windows.
