my question is this... A child who was mentally and physically abused grows to be an adult and is having health and mental problems due to the abuse suffered as a child. Does this child/adult have any legal recourse against the abuser?
Beyond restraining orders, is their a way to basically bring this person to trial and make them be held responsible? Not sure legally what recourses are available or if anyone has tried this. I appreciate you help. Thank-you.
