i live in MASS. and plan on moving to Florida. There are several outstanding parking tickets against a car I wish to sell. If I surreneder the plates, am I still responsible for the tickets? Also I've partially paid on some of the tickets; does that count for somthing? Thanks DD

Many states attach unpaid non-moving violations (such as parking tickets) to the registered owner's registration fees. If the vehicle is sold, the regsitered owner is still responsible to pay the fees and the penalties assoicated with the unpaid tickets.
