My boyfriend was arrested for Domestic Violence in March of last year. I had a temporary restraining order put on him and then released it when I decided to give him another chance. Now things are no better between us, except that he hasn't hit me in awhile. I keep trying to break up with him and he refuses to leave the house. He says if I want him to go, I have to call the police again. Will the police even care, or will they ignore my call? Is there a way to get him to leave my house? He is on the lease, but he hasn't paid me rent in over a year. ANy suggestions?
